Advent market 2024
The Advent market at St. Elisabeth in Bamberg in early December was a huge success for mabuhay Kinderhilfe.
We managed to raise more than 4,000 euros for our scholars (which is the equivalent of 8,000!! meals).
The board would like to thank all those who helped make the Advent market such a success.

This year again Jan managed to raise a fine sum for our “Feeding Programme” with the help of family and friends.
In addition there was the sale of arts and crafts as well as another event in Speyer. Eventually we are happy to anounce the transfer of 3,800 euros.

A big thank you to our supporter Jan and many donors
Since 2008 Jan Diesel has played the violin every year to raise funds for the feeding programme in the slum of Manila. Besides there is the sale of stars made by his family. In 2018 a total of 1,800 euros were raised.
Many thanks, Jan.

9th mabuhay fun run
On Saturday, 06 May, the 9th mabuhay fun run was organised in Bamberg for walkers, Nordic walkers and runners according to the motto “Walking for Life“. Around 65 participants (including several children and senior citizens) gathered in nice weather and were sent on their way by Councillor Dr. Helmut Müller, who filled in for Lord Mayor Andreas Starke. Everyone performed well and there were no injuries. The organisers and a group of Maltese paramedics, who had thankfully volunteered to help out in case of emergency, were delighted. The proceeds of around 500 euros will go to malnourished children in the “Happyland” slum of Manila.
