at DayCareCenter of the slum “Happyland“ in Manila. The preschool is attended by around 50 slum children and is run by the Canossian Sisters.
at Teresita School of Mansalay on the island of Mindoro. Around 250 primary schoolchildren benefit from the meal.
at Salay Elementary School, also in Mansalay on the island of Mindoro, around 350 primary schoolchildren have access to lunch. The majority of the children are Mangyans, an indigenous group with a culture of their own and difficult living conditions. Both projects were started by social worker Leslie Macuja. The projects are run by the school management and the teachers.
