Support mabuhay

By subscribing to a school sponsorship you will enable a Philippine child in need to attend school. The costs of a school sponsorship are 28 euros a month regardless of the type of school. The amount corresponds to the average total cost of a school sponsorship lasting a maximum of 13 years (3 years of Elementary School, 6 years of High School, 4 years of College). 

We stagger our transfers to the Phillipines, i.e. every child in Elementary School financially contributes to a college education.

What is new is the option of a school scholarship, i.e. a school sponsorship without any personal contact to the child for 28 euros a month. 

The annual mabuhay membership is 12 euros a year. This is the equivalent of only one euro a month. Membership fees secure our financial basis. At present mabuhay has around 260 members.

mabuhay Kinderhilfe is supported by various activities, e.g. school runs, charity events and talks in schools and advocacy groups. Your donation helps us support projects like the orphanage of Balay Canossa, food programmes and the slum hospital of Tondo.

In the annual members’ meeting and in two newsletters per year we report on the use of your donations and the development of the projects.

All donation receipts are issued at the beginning of the year. As a rule the tax office accepts your bank statement as proof of donations for a maximum of 300 euros. If you wish and let us know your address, we can provide a donation receipt from 50 euros.
