Endlich ist das Wassertankprojekt abgeschlossen, die Installation war schon im April fertig. Aber wir konnten ihn erst im August in Betrieb nehmen, weil die häufigen Taifune, die das Land in diesen Monaten heimsuchten, uns daran hinderten, Nagcanciunan zu besuchen. 
Ich konnte erst im August, gegen Ende, dorthin fahren, als die Schule eröffnet wurde, um die Kinder zu besuchen, die wir unterstützen.
Die Gemeinde stimmte zu, dass die Schule der erste Nutznießer des Speichertanks sein sollte. Die Schule bezieht ihr Wasser aus den Bergen oder vom Regen. Sie lagern ihr Wasser in großen Plastikfässern und haben nur einen sehr begrenzten Vorrat.
Jetzt profitiert die Schule von dem neu installierten Wassertank, denn sobald der Tank mit Wasser gefüllt ist, kann die Schule direkt von dort Wasser beziehen.
Vielen Dank für diese große Hilfe für diese indigene Gemeinschaft. Mit diesem Vorratstank müssen sie sich in den Sommermonaten, wenn das Wasser vom Berggipfel versiegt, keine Sorgen mehr machen, denn sie haben Wasser aus dem Brunnen, das sie als Reserve für die trockenen Monate in diesen Vorratstank pumpen können…

Finally, the water tank project is done.The installation was finished already by April. But we did not see it work until about August because of the frequent typhoons that visited the country in those months that prevented us from visiting Nagcanciunan. 
I managed to go there only in August, towards the end – as the school opened, to visit the children whom we are supporting.
The community agreed to have the school be the first beneficiary of the storage tank. The school gets water from the mountain or from the rain. they store their water in big plastic drums in a very limited supply.
Now, the school benefits from the newly installed water tank because as the tank is filled with water, the school can get water from there directly.
Thank you very much for the big help to this Indigenous Community. With this storage tank, during the summer months when the water from the mountain top gets dry, they do not have to worry because they have water from the well that they can pump up to this storage tank as reserve for the dry months…
